The most famous trains were the City of Los Angeles and the City of San Francisco, departing from Chicago, IL for the West. Additional trains were known as the City of Portland and the City of St. Louis.The biggest partners, UP and C&NW, advertised \"Route of the Streamliners\" on their box cars.
