The surround not only affects the bass parameters of a speaker it also absorbs and reflects various cone vibrations throughout the frequency spectrum. Further, the surround often determines the response of a speaker to peak signals. Serious speaker designers put much effort and science into the specifics of each particular surround. The type of material, treatment, thickness profile, curvature, angle of attachment and the exact method of attachment all come into play. There are as many variations of surrounds as there are speaker brands and generally they are not interchangeable. That\'s why at Audiodog\'s you will only get parts that meet the specifications for your speaker and not something that merely fits.
This sale is for 4 - 8\" foam surrounds and 4 KEF 2.75\" dust cap donuts. Professional grade Nitrile Rubber speaker repair glue, reusable plastic shims and instructions are included with this sale.

NOTE: Due to historical variations in manufacturing some KEF woofers are .75\" on the inside edge as opposed to .84\". Even with little room to glue the inner lip this dust cap will still work. The smaller version of this dust cap is no longer being made.
