[1930] A rare boxed set containing 5 animal character bookswritten and illustrated by Lawson Wood. Included are Mr. book titles (Mr.Quack, Mr. Grunt, Mr. Prickles, Mr. Trunk, Mr. Pup) There is no Mr Fox. Alltitles fit into the box called \'The Hamper of Mr. Books. Each little bookletcontains 12 pages (unpaginated) and is fully illustrated in colour and black /white / red on every page. The illustrations are just gorgeous!!
The rear cover of each booklet has an advert for the latestBeatrix Potter book - The Tale of Little Pig Robinson - first published in1930.
The box’s lid sides is broken, missing a partial lid side. Thebooklets are clean and in good read condition, having been protected by thebox. There is the odd page crease or minor edge tear, but overall kept well.
