Thisis a complete set of KISSIKONS \"BLUE KISS PARALLEL\" trading cards. This \"BLUE KISS\" PARALLEL VERSION OF CARDS was produced in2009 by PRESSPASS & was available only inside EXCLUSIVE \"HOBBY ONLY\" FACTORY CARD SETS CALLED \"KOMPLETE KISS.\"
Inside an original FACTORY SEALED \"KOMPLETE KISS\" BOXED SET was a complete set of \"BLUE KISS IKONS\" & acomplete set of \"BLUE KISS360°.\" This listings is just for the complete set of \"BLUE KISS IKONS.\"
This was a way for PRESS PASS to go back to press to try & meet the demand for these cards (as each release was a complete sell out). They made the fronts of the cards look different though, making this a rare PARALLEL card set. Each card is identical to the base cards in the standard release EXCEPT that the images are in BLACK & WHITE (no color!) & there is a BLUE KISS LOGO on each card front!
The setconsists of90 cards in all (#1-#90). This card series was the first release by PRESS PASS & is based on the greatest Rock & Roll band in the world as they celebrate 35 Years of Klassic Kiss!
This comprehensive trading card set covers the band throughout their career in the following subsets: THE EARLY DAYS, FIRST KISS, KISS AND MAKEUP, 35 YEARS OF KLASSIC KISS, MILESTONES IN KISSTORY, KISS DOCTRINE andKISS & TELL.
Each card features afully licensed photograph of the classic members of KISS (Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, Peter Criss & Paul Stanley) in various live action, studio portrait & impromptu settings.
The back of each card features another (different) photo as well as a quote from band members, those close to Kiss (producers, Managers, etc.) & even some celebrities. The quotes are relevant tidbitsand,like the photos featured, have never been used on trading cards before.
