Purchased many years ago for French & Indian / Revolutionary War (Butler\'s Rangers) / Mountain Man Rendezvous.
Used for many years as an all-around carry / camp knife. Very well loved.I was told that the knife was made from an old saw blade. I don\'t know if that\'s true or not but it is a very unique looking knife. The stitching on the sheath looks like sinew. The blade is secured with (2) silver colored rivets of some kind.This first belt (the one with the buckle) is the one I always used. It is 40 1/2\" long. The brass is very oxidized and turning green. I like that look but if it\'s not your thing it will likely polish right up. The leather on this belt is very, very worn. Again, I like that look. It will probably keep going strong but I did buy another belt just in case.The second belt (35 1/2\") is set up with (2) screws where the buckle attaches so if the primary belt breaks the buckle can be moved right over (see pictures). This belt is more \"modern\" It is stamped \"Hand Stained Cowhide Size 32\" on the back side. Tape measure is NOT included.We take a lot more pictures than most seller because we want you to know exactly what you are buying.
