We pride ourselves at Oakapple Designsas having permission to take moulds directly from the medieval carvings found uponthe misericords and choir stalls from within the Cathedrals and Churches in theUK. Our moulds and production techniques capture and reproduce all the finedetail from the original carvings to produce a very high-quality piece with allthe authenticity from the original carving.

Taken from the medieval carvings found upon the misericordsand supports within the choir stalls of Lincoln Cathedral. This carving is of acheeky looking character known as the Knight with Sword & Shield. Thecarving depicts a Knight hiding behind his shield and with his sword at theready, one can clearly see that from his stance he his crouching and creepingup to his intended target with the element of surprise. This reproduction istaken directly from the original and captures all the fine detail by the mastercraftsmen that carved this work of art many years ago. Comes with wall fixingand product label.
