This is a 1880 printing of the 1872 original. The purple cloth covers have moderate fade most notable on the spine end. The upper two cloth corners are frayed. Inside, there is a stamp on the front endpaper from an old book store. Otherwise it is unmarked and free of creases tears and moisture. The book is complete with the endpapers intact, a square binding and sound hinges and gutters.
