Ettore Sottsass designed SPYDER TABLE - Pre-owned and Authentic!
This authentic Spyder table was manufactured by Knoll International in 1994. BASE: Pained Blue steel tubes with high gloss finish and transparent glides at the bottom of each leg. Solid steel and polyurethane cross-member connects the four tube leg base and attaches the glass top to the base.
TOP: 53.25\" diameter, 3/8\" thick tempered dark grey glass. The table height to the top of the table is 28.5\". Included is the 1988 printed Knoll Brochure: \"The Sottsass Collection Spyder Tables.Condition on this 1994 made table is good. Scratches are evident in both the glass top and within the paint on the 4 leg base from everyday use. A few black marks near the leg bottom can be seen. See images. No dents in the base.Ettore Sottsass- noted italian architect designed the Spyder table in 1986 and won the Design Center Stuttgart Award, W. Germany 1987. This table is a strong, yet transparent design.
