Here together are the two hard-to-find ROM blocks that complete the sample ROM of any Kurzweil K2600 keyboard or module that already has the Orchestral and Contemporary ROM blocks installed. (Most K2600s were sold with the Orchestra and Contemporary blocks pre-installed.) Please refer to the picture showing a K2600 Daughterboard ready to have ROMs 3 and 4 installed. If your K2600 doesn\'t have programs 800 - 999 then you will need to also buy the K2600 daughterboard. These boards do not work in K2000s or K2500s.

This sale includes:

ROM 3 RM3-26 \"Triple Strike Piano\". This adds two layers of dynamics to Kurzweil\'s famous Stereo Grand Piano yielding a much more expressive instrument. This also brings the K2600 pianos up to the specifications of the pianos in the newer PC3 series.

ROM 4 RM4-26 \"Vintage Keys\" An astounding collection of Rhodes, Wurlitzer and RMI electro-mechanical keyboards making great use of the K2600\'s KDFX processing. Adding this to your K2600 is like buying a new instrument.

Installation couldn\'t be simpler, the ROM blocks just snap into place where labeled on the Daughterboard.

Please note that to use these boards it is necessary to reinstall the factory object file and to install the specific object files OBJSD101.K26 and OBJEP101.K26. Installation instructions will be included. I am including the required files on a floppy disk. These files can also be installed from CD-ROM or any compatible SCSI device. Do make sure you have a way to access these files before purchasing.
