Here we have a fantastic folk pottery vase by the most sought after potter in this genre, Lanier Meaders. The huge vase is a very desirable form with pieces like this selling very high since his death in 1998. The piece is in wonderful condition.It isis signed on the bottom as shown in photos. It stands 13 inches tall, 10 inches wide at the middle, 7 inches wide mouth, and a 5 1/2 inches at thebase. This piece is very heavy. Photos don\'t do it justice. ! I will accept reasonable offers. If you are a collector you will know what this is really worth.I have talked to a few sale houses who specialize in this type of pottery.sale estimates range from $2600-$3400. I am listing on with a reduced buy now to avoid the20%sellers premium and photography fees most sale houses charge.
