This listing is for a large and impressive porcelain crackled stoneware soup tureen mid-20th century, stamped Made in China and other markings on bottom reverse. The tureen is beautifully painted with slate blue, rustic browns and yellow colors vases, leaves, flowers, cornucopias, and various precious objects, all highlighted in raised texture and made in a crackled process which is a difficult technique to perform on such a large piece. Tureen with lid, measures 14\" inches across the handles and comes with the matching under platter and 11\" inches high on platter. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no wear, no cracks, no chips..perfect like new - very clean & bright with no loss. Top Lid, tureen and underplate together weigh 13 pounds.
