LARGE 14\" tall Antique Pottery GERMAN BEER STEIN -- CONVERTED into a LAMP.
Interesting old lamp...made from a German Pottery Beer Stein.
Depicts five men drinking and having a good time!
Three of the men are sitting at a center table listening to another play music on a stringed guitar while the fifth manis spending his time pouring ale from a large tankard.
The lamp is mounted on an old, oak, wooden base. The top has a pull string top socket. You would use a clamp type shade over a regular light bulb.
Has a 3 ft. electric cord with an old-type plug. The plug and cord look to be in good, usable condition.
There is an original flaw down in one of the bottom bands -- a clay skip -- original in the firing of the stein from the factory, pictured in #10.
There is a hairline crack going through the guitar players left leg -- it disappears above his leg and near the bands at the bottom....so it doesn\'t runfrom top to bottom, it just kind of appears in the middle of the stein....as pictured in photo #11.
The soft, pewter lid tab has a little piece broken out, picture double clicking on the largest picture above, you can zoom in on all the photos and enlarge them.
Please scrutinize all my pictures as they are part of my item\'s description--and email with any exactly as pictured. If it is marked, it would have to be taken apart to find out. CONDITION: GOOD. Has a few little flaws as described, but a pretty neat piece! MEASURES: 14\" tall to the top of the gold-tone pull socket. Really interesting and decorative old stein!
