Greetings, what I may not be able to describe with words; I hope to make up with good photos. A number of years ago I purchased a collection of Paisley shawls. Now, I have some experience with photography from handling many items, but really, I am a Paisley shawl neophyte so please ask questions if you have questions or provide me some answers to information that might be helpful! Thanks. Ok, What I can tell you is this shawl is big, a whopping 124 inches long and 59 inches wide and the amount of stitching (done by hand) is phenomenal. It is magnificent to look at when completely opened up! Difficult to capture in one photo. First photo is the entire shawl, then the left side, then right. Then two more full shots, then the reserve side with the damage, center, then non damaged side, close up center and close up both reverse side, and finally held to the light. There is obvious damage on the left side, this is a tear of about 14 inches long and another one of about 4 inches long. There are some thin spots and a couple of very small holes seen when held to the light. Please ask questions if you have them. Thanks for looking, happy to combine shipping.
