You may collect goods from us at the above address only when prior arrangements have been made. You can arrange collection via email or telephone. We pride ourselves on dispatching goods extremely quickly. Royal Mail collect from our premises twice a day and payments received before 5.15pm Monday to Friday will normally be dispatched the same day. Items are carefully packed to avoid damage in transit.
Items can only be dispatched to the registered address given on PayPal. Therefore please ensure your address is correct before paying.
We use Royal Mail for delivery for most items but for bulkier products we may use a courier. All items are dispatched First Class (unless you upgrade to next day delivery). First Class typically takes 1-2 days but there is no guarantee and at busier times of the year may be considerably longer. To guarantee delivery next day please select Express Delivery. This guarantees delivery before 1pm to most parts of the UK. More detailed information follows:
First Class (UK) Delivery
This should get items to you within 1 -2 working days. Royal Mail state that approximately 90% of items should reach you the next working day (including Saturdays). Depending on the value of your order items may be sent via Royal Mail’s recorded signed for service or another tracked courier. This shipping method applies to BFPO addresses and the Channel Islands.
Special Next Day Delivery (UK)
This service will allow goods to reach you the next working day (Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays) when an order is completed before 5.15pm the previous working day (Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays). Royal Mail guarantee delivery by 1pm to 99% of UK addresses. This shipping method applies to BFPO addresses and the Channel Islands. Royal Mail’s guarantee cannot be made if they are experiencing any significant operational problems such as postal or rail strikes, or severe weather.
They sometimes deliver on Saturdays if the item arrives at their local delivery office that day, but they can't guarantee delivery. You shall have to pay for Saturday Guarantee Delivery if you are placing your order on a Friday and need the item to arrive the following day. Please contact us via or via phone if you wish to do this.

Delivery within Europe should take 3 - 5 working days and to the Rest of the World 7 - 10 working days. Airmail will be used as standard but for more valuable items International Signed For or Airsure will be used depending on the destination.
First class and overseas delivery times are not guaranteed and we cannot take responsibility if items do not reach you within these times. Please allow extra time at especially busy times such as Halloween and Christmas. If a Special Delivery item does not reach you within the specified time above please let us know and we can claim compensation from Royal Mail, which will be passed onto you once we receive it.
If you believe an item has been lost or damaged by Royal Mail then please contact us. We cannot begin any claims procedure with them until after 15 days from dispatch (longer with overseas deliveries). A refund cannot be issued until this process has been completed but we will ensure this is within 30 days from you ordering your goods. If a replacement is requested this will be sent out after 15 days. This allows goods to be returned to us if for any reason they cannot be delivered. Returns of non-faulty goods
You must take reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession. Goods must be returned in an unopened and unused state for a full refund within 30 days of receipt. Items must be without damage or use and in a suitable condition for resale. Any cardboard headers must not be folded. We cannot accept any returns without their original packaging . Costumes can typically be opened and tried on and then resealed. All goods will be inspected on their return. Postage and packing charges will not be refunded.
Returns of faulty goods
All goods are new unless otherwise stated. Any item found to be damaged or faulty when received must be returned to us within 30 days of receipt. Goods will be inspected upon their return.
Due to their nature teeth, facial hair, wigs, make-up, tights and stockings cannot be returned unless unworn or unused. Such products cannot be returned if they have been tried on or used.
We will not refund the cost of postage and packaging for you to return goods to us.
When returning goods you must open a returns case through and include a note of your name, address, reason for the return, item number and user ID. Alternatively you can return your item with the invoice which has all this information included. We strongly advise that you use Royal Mail’s “Recorded Signed For” service or their “Special Delivery” service when returning goods to us. We cannot be held responsible for goods going missing in the post on their return to us.
Unlike many traders on no restocking or administration fee will be charged.
We aim to make refunds on the day of receipt back to us. However please allow a few days for a refund to be processed.
If an item is returned that, due to reasons outlined above, cannot be refunded then we will inform you of the reasons for this. We can return the items back to you if the postage and packaging costs are met. Otherwise the items will be destroyed.
Product Sizing and Colour
Fancy Dress Magic make every effort to maintain clear descriptions and images that are representative and truly reflect the item to be purchased. We cannot however be held responsible for any perception you may have in product representation. We also cannot be held responsible if the manufacturer changes a product specification including colour or design at any time without notice.
It is also important to note that some colours may vary slightly from what you see on screen to the product that you receive, depending on your monitor screen resolution and colour/display settings.
Our sizing guides and measurements are approximate but every effort has been made to make them as accurate as possible.
