A large and scarce Roman Rhenish beaker in a very pale and delicate green glass with a darker green ring base. The glass is exceptionally thin and lightweight, just 59g.
c. Late 1st to 3rd century AD
Size: 10.5cms high, 10cms across rim. Tall and wide for its type.
Condition: Totally intact. Some iridiscence. There are quite a few bubbles in the glass but, despite being so thin, none have burst.
