Presenting a stunning Cathrineholm of Norway blue enamel and steel plate or tray
from the appealing Cathedral series designed by Grete Prytz Kittelsen circa 1955.

This exquisite tray just oozes style with massive Mid Century Eames era appeal!

An exquisite milled butterfly feather decoration appears to the top
of the sleekly shaped steel tray, with a rich and radiant blue vitreous
enamel atop. The stunning milled pattern reflects the light spectaculary,
the stylish arcs creating a magnificent range of electric shades of blue.

The thin sparkling silver toned edge perfectly frames the rich blue enamel.

This exquisite piece is presented in good vintage condition with no dings,dents,
breaks, cracks or repairs. There are some light surface scratches and scuffs to the
enamel finish, noticeable only on close examination in bright raking light but mentioned
for accuracy. The steel underside is rather scratched as is fairly standard but should polish
up well. The enamel retains a fabulous brilliancy and beautiful lustre. This stunning platter
has been well cared for, with years of light loving use, and presents spectacularly.

This impressive piece measures approx 12 inches or 31cms in diameter.

This piece is beautifully marked to the base with a Cathrineholm Norway stamp.
