Very clean, classic-style vintage 12-spoke, "Diamond" all-brass and black Sessions Clock Company starburst wall clock from circa 1962. Not a modern reproduction. The clock measures 38 inches from tip-to-tip (over 3 feet!), 7.5 inches across the face. The 12, 3, 6 and 9 spokes are longer than the rest so the clock is in a diamond pattern. Very nice vintage condition. All of the flat-black steel spokes are straight with no kinks or bends. Very clean vintage spun brass face. Perfect red vintage-style hands with a rare black second hand. All steel construction, no plastic. Nice.
This was a key wind clock that has been converted to a modern quartz battery mechanism. It retains the key wind hole on the front so it looks like a wind-up clock but it\'s not.
It works perfectly and keeps perfect time. It uses 1 AA battery in a brand-new modern quartz mechanism so it runs accurately and is completely silent. A new battery is included but not installed so the hands don\'t jam.
