Circa late 1800\'s and of the FRENCH VICTORIAN era we have come across these wonderful LUXURY MINIATURES from time to time, but never in this AMAZINGCONDITION; it is truly a wonderful ATTIC FIND! The vitrine measures 8 1/4\" tallto the very top (6 3/4\" not including the cornice) 4\" wide and3\" deep, with the glass cabinet itself measuring 4 1/2\" tall not including it\'s feet; the top shelf measures approximately 3 1/4\" high to the top of it\'s curved center, is 2\" deep and 3 1/4\" wide, and the shorter bottom shelf is 1 3/4\" tall. It is DELICIOUSLY ORNATE with its original fancy brass ORMOLU FRAME enhanced with delicate FLORAL BOUQUET embellishments on its cornice top, dainty scrolled CLAW FEET, a modified inverted FLEUR-DE-LIS design on the bottom, feminine CURVED GLASS top, and original BRASS CLASP on it\'s door! The door and sides have their original very thick BEVELED GLASS with no chips or cracks, and when opened it revealsit\'soriginalbeautifulcherry red SILK UPHOLSTERED interior back and shelves with TUFTED CUSHIONS including its wonderful tiny upholstery buttons, in virtually FACTORY ORIGINAL shape----it doesn\'t get any better than this!
