Laura Tomasie 1907 - 1977 began making pottery in the 1920s along with her sister Grace Chappella Many of her pieces have been in southwest art shows. This particular piece measures 7\" x 3 3/4\" 7/8\" tall and looks to be a mistical sacred bird. Probably made in the 50-60s.I like the fact that she slip had whites blended with the traditional orange red. No cracks or chips see all pictures
