Los Angeles Dodgers pitchers Josh Beckett and Clayton Kershaw made History and they have teamed up to raise money for their Foundations. 100% of all proceeds from the sale of these items will be distributed to their charities.
Not only was this the first Career No-Hitters (and last for Beckett as he retired after 2014) for both Josh Beckett and Clayton Kershaw, but this is the first time that any two Los Angeles Dodger Teammates have thrown No-Hitters in the same season. To add even more History into the making of this Limited Edition piece of Memorabilia, this is the first time since 1972 when two Chicago Cubs pitchers accomplished the feat! The last time two Dodger\'s pitchers threw matching No-Hitters was in 1956 as part of the Brooklyn Dodgers!
Josh Beckett made History by capping off his tremendous career by throwing a No-Hitter on May 24th, 2014 against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Clayton Kershaw followed up with a piece of History of his own on June 18th against the Colorado Rockies when he threw his First Career No-Hitter! This game by Clayton Kershaw is the only Game in History where a pitcher has thrown 15 Strikeouts and not issuing a single walk.
Upon completion of these Historic Events, Josh Beckett and Clayton Kershaw teamed up for a one-of-a-kind photo which shows both Pitchers in their respective Home and Away Uniforms to signify their No-Hitter Games. Beckett in his Away Uniform, and Kershaw wearing his Home Uniform.
100 of these Photos were printed off and signed respectively by each Player along with their No-Hitter Inscription and Date that they made History.
All of the photos were Authenticated by MLB and display their serial numbered hologram which can be looked up online for the results of the signing at Dodger Stadium.
The initial sale of these Photos took place and sold for over 500.00 each. The remainder of the stock of 100 photos is now being sold and then there will not be any other ones to hit the open market.
