Mechanical Tumbling POPEYE Wind-up tin toyLinemar Toys, a division of Louis Marx & Co. / King FeaturesMade in JapanTESTED & WORKSRare and very hard to find vintage 1950s tin metal Wind-up Tumbling Popeye toy. Has all his original arms and legs. Missing only his pipe. Wind up mechanism is TESTED & WORKING but runs kind of slow, could probably use an oiling. Tin litho has paint wear from age, and some rust spots. Tin is a bit loose at the top of shoulders where it meets the metal bar. Metal clip in back of head looks to be opening up or loose. Tin has a dent under the nose, near chin (maybe where Bluto punched him). This Popeye toy comes available for sale very infrequently.
