This figurine portrays a young hugging his trustworth friend, the donkey.

The detail work is fantastic.

Lladro has captured another childhood memory with this charming figurine.

Ithas a beautifulglazed finish.

An older piece, this rare figurinewas issued in 1971 and retired in 1990.

It is marked on the bottom with the third Lladro mark,

which was the first backstamp that featured the now famous blue Lladro bellflower.

This trademark was used from about 1971 to 1974- making this a possible first issue of this piece.Sculpted by Juan Huerta,it measures8 inches tall by6 3/4inches long by4inches wide.

It\'s name in Spanish is PLATERO Y MARCELINO.

This is a perfectly flawless and simply adorable Lladro figurine.
