Our parents were the original owners of this classic large-size Lladro. It is item number 1383, \"A RIDE IN CHINA\" which I have often seen listed as \"A Rickshaw Ride\", dating to approximately 1978. This item was retired in 2005. Please note the following damages: The umbrella has fallen at least twice and has two broken-off pieces clearly visible in the photos. The umbrella fell when the lady\'s thumb broke off and the glue holding the umbrella failed. You can also see the missing thumb in one of the close ups. As of 3/18/2017 One replacement umbrella is available from Lladro and re-gluing it to the figure will make the missing thumb almost undetectable. Other than these two breaks, the unit is immaculate and in generally excellent condition. It includes the wooden display base but no original Box. Close ups of the rose crown on the girl as well as the delicate fingers on the girl\'s other hand show that everything is intact. The piece, including the wooden base measures 12\" x 8\" and is 14\" high.This large size piece was displayed in a non-smokers fully air-conditioned home.
