Longaberger Founder\'s Market Basket, made in honor of Dave Longaberger, the company\'s founder, by his daugthers, Tami and Rachel. Basket has Tami and Rachel\'s signatures burned into the bottom and the usual basketweaver\'s initials and year it was made (2000.)
I took this basket to Dresden, OH, home of the Longaberger Company, to obtain signatures from Dave Longaberger\'s siblings. It was signed by 5 siblings. Each one adds their birth order number to their signature.
Other than removing the basket for the signatures and photos, this basket and its lid have been stored in their original boxes in my smoke-free, climate controlled home. Original sales flyer introducing this special basket, product booklet and a special Dave Longaberger tribute booklet are included.
