LOT OF 2 VTG BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS STORYBOOK 1950 & SECOND STORYBOOK 1952:

For your consideration is this lot of two story books from BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS. The first book is the yellow cover BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS STORY BOOK from 1950. Its 151 pages contain such classics as Peter Rabbit, The Little Red hen, Old Mother Hubbard, Brer Rabbit and Little Black Sambo. It is well used- the cover shows soiling and corner wear. Inside the front cover, one can see that the front cover is starting to come loose (photo #2). There are also 8 pages with small tears at the bottom of the pages and 3 with minor pencil marks on them. The SECOND STORY BOOK (orange cover) from 1952 has 176 pages and is in excellent condition, showing no tears, marks and has a very clean cover. It contains such stories as The Pied Piper of Hamelin, The Dog in the Manger, and several of Aesop\'s Fables. This is a wonderful set of have. We had a set when we were young and I remember being read many of these stories in the 1950\'s.
