I am preparing for an extended vacation and am trying to sell off all the extra stock I have that I will not be using in my jewelry designs. For some reason that I can never figure out the necklaces I make never sell very well- they usually only go up to the value of the pendant. I chose these 7 pendants that I will not be using and am listing them as a lot. I am starting the sale at a ridiculously low price that certainly does not reflect the value! I have been buying, selling and re-working Native American and Mexican pieces for over 10 years now. I am still by no means an expert- BUT- I pride myself on being an honest and ethical seller! This is a lot of sterling silver pendants, some vintage, some newer, one is obviously made by a novice but I\'m sure the sterling silver is worth something at a refinery! Some are hallmarked and some are not. I did not polish or clean these pendants since I figured they would probably go to a collector!Here is the description from the gallery photo:

There is a large egg shaped pendant that is blackonyx on one side and some sort of jasper on the other side, the sides have a very wide band of silver. This piece is not marked but it looks vintage, the metal is high quality and thick. It may possibly be a piece from Mexico.

There is a large rather crude pendant with a hematite cabochon that tests positive for sterling silver.

There is an asymmetricalmalachite pendant set in a plain bezel with a scalloped design around the stone. No cracks or chips. It is not hallmarked but both the pendant and the bale are sterling.

There is a smaller vintage pendant with what looks like agate. The stone is black and grey and is set in a plain bezel with bead and a quarter moon applique\'. It is hallmarked RS and stamped Sterling. Since there are many artists listed in Barton Wrights Hallmarks of the Southwest with these initials, I am unable to determine tribal affiliation.

There is a newer light green and blue turquoise pendant set in a serrated bezel with twisted wire and hand hammered designs. I am familiar with this artist. It is hallmarked with a broken arrow and stamped sterling. I was told when I bought a lot of his pendant that he is an older Navajo that lives in New Mexico. No cracks or chips in the stone. The color looks a little strange to me, like it was dyed.

There is a vintage sterling turquoise pendant with a nice quality stone set in a serrated bezel with twisted wire applique\'. It is not stamped or hallmarked. I included a close up of the back as it is damaged with some sort of hammered marks. The bezel is not set expertly either.

The last pendant is some sort of white agate stone set in a serrated bezel with twisted wire applique\'. This is another item crafted and hallmarked by \"broken arrow\". It was new when I bought it about a decade ago. I just could never figure out what stones would look good with it!

In my opinion the large egg shaped pendant is the oldest and most valuable of the lot! Feel free to email me with any questions or additional photos!
