Many of my listings are found at garage sales, consignment shops, thrift stores, etc. I can only describe the care of a garment after I have received it and we are a non-smoking home, but we do have cats in my household. While I do take a lint roller to everything before it leaves my possession it is possible for a hair or two to go un-noticed. If you cannot tolerate even one cat hair due to allergies or any other reason this is information you need, but trust that I do not dress the cats in the clothes that I sell.

In addition to the lint brush I also wash all items as per the care instructions (unless new with tags) and inspect all items for flaws before posting for sale. The only exceptions are - dry clean only will not be pre-cleaned in order to keep prices down and baby clothes will not be febrezed due to sensitivity. I must be honest though, I am a human… So it is possible that I may miss small things. If you are in absolute need of true never-worn perfection please shop full price at the Mall, I try to sell excellent clothes at low prices, but sometimes this means there may be minor flaws, do not expect new unless it is listed as such.

*****Low Detailed Seller Ratings (DSR) hurt small businesses*****

Before I state the basics of my return policy, shipping information, etc I would like to point out a few things - - -

I hate to sound rude, but unfortunately due to some low ratings I received which were totally unwarranted, a dark cloud was left lingering over me and my business so I need to clarify how DSR’s work in case you did not know.

When you rate an business with a 1 or a 2 star rating in any category this mark stays on the sellers record and is calculated into the performance rating for an entire year. A business with too many of these marks gets their items listed lower in search results which has a direct affect on sales, they do not get to participate in sales promotions, they sometimes have selling restrictions put into place for their business and occasionally their funds are held. The worst part is once the low rating is received there is really nothing a seller can do to correct upon or remove those low scores.

For a business with hundreds of sales and many years of sales a few low ratings may not matter that much with the volume that is being sold or the loyal customers, but for small businesses a low rating can really destroy a reputation and will impact more than you may realize. So whether you are shopping with me or one of my fellow small businesses please think twice before you leave that low rating and don’t punish us because you didn’t get a response within the hour you asked the question, because the shade of red in that sweater you bought didn’t match the shoes in your closet, or because the paperboy broke your window.

My opinions on Detailed Seller Ratings are -

1. Shipping time is listed in the sale, therefore if it states that I will ship in 4 days and you still make a purchase I should not be punished by you and given low ratings for keeping with a shipping time that was clearly stated. If I ship after that date then you at least have a legitimate reason to leave a bad rating if you feel the need, but if you just want it today then you have the choice to find someone who ships sooner or to go to the mall. Do not punish a seller for your decision.

2. Shipping prices are calculated within the sale, therefore you know before you even place a offer what the cost will be. Again, if you still decide to make a purchase I should not be punished with low DSR’s for a shipping price that was clearly calculated even if you think it’s pricey. If you don’t like paying for shipping charges then you have the choice to shop on-site at the mall.

3. If you have a question about an item I will try to get back to you as soon as humanly possible for someone who isn’t bolted to their computer. I will always answer all questions within 24 hours but if you need immediate customer service then the stores at the mall are for you.

4. I take pride in the quality of picture that I include with my sales along with the detailed description of each item that I post for sale. I try to measure everything as much and as accurately as possible, I include care instructions, fabric content & feel, condition, etc… Please compare my listings to other sales on and you will see that I go above and beyond other sellers usually. So if you think you still don’t have a clear picture of what I have listed please ask me your questions, even ask for more pictures. But if you need to actually feel, smell and taste what you are buying then one last time – hop in the car and head to the mall.

I’m sorry to sound like such a jerk but as the saying goes, a few bad apples spoil the bunch.

Now, back to the basics -

Payment: Payment is appreciated within three days and necessary within one week unless arrangements have been made with me. If you need an extension past one week I can usually accommodate, but communication is key, please let me know. How I proceed with non-payment is – three days after sale an invoice reminder is sent; one week after sale a message is sent to the buyer requesting payment or communication; about 10 days after sale a case is open with for non-payment.

Return Policy: While I may nothave a return policy set with , I am willing to work with you personally ifthere is a problem.If you have a problem please contact me first to try to resolve the situation, I take my sales very seriously and I do not want to lose potential customers due to something that could have been resolved easily.

Depending on the problem there may be nothing that I can do, but we may be able to work out a solution if we talk to each other. One guarantee is that if I make a mistake in a listing I would certainly accept your return, but on the flip side I will not entertain a return for an item that simply does not fit. Measurements are always given so that you can check your own measurements to ensure an accurate fit, as a buyer I know how important this is, so it is important to me as a seller as well. Lastly, shipping charges are usually not refundable, they were collected to get your purchase to you and if you received your winnings then the shipping fees did their job.

Shipping: Be assured that if you win multiple sales I am more than willing to combine purchases.If you have won, or if you are offerding on multiple sales send me a note andI will revise the shipping quote for your purchase.

Unless stated otherwise, I am trying to ship within one day of payment, and this will be stated in the sale. If the sale does not state one day shipping then I usually ship within 4 days of payment. I am willing to do expedited shipping if an item is needed sooner than my current schedule, but please let me know ahead of time that this is something you may need and we can try to work it out.

International: I am sometimes willing to ship internationally, but do not offer until you check with me first and I will price the shipping cost for you. This way we both know what is expected. And if a listing states ‘Free shipping’, this is domestic only.

Communication: And certainly, if you have any questions about a listing or anything else regarding my sale please send me a note and I will get back to you quickly.
