This lovely clock retains its original gilt finish dial surround, which enhances the beautiful silvered dial. Fine blued steel hands complete a handsome face.
Inside the case, viewed through the bevelled glass, is the quality key wound, 8 day movement. This runs perfectly, keeping good time. The clock stands 6 inches high with the handle up, 3 inches wide by 3 inches deep.
Condition: as mentioned the clock is in full working order, keeping good time. It is complete with a double ended key, ready to go. The brass finish has some signs of wear and has dulled slightly...which is as it should be, but would polish up if that is your preference. There is a small chip to the top of the right hand side glass.
A lovely, classic French carriage clock. As they say, style never goes out of fashion...here\'s the proof.
