This Rare and Elegant ring was made by the famous jeweler\'s Ostby & Barton!This dainty beauty is in very good to excellent \'antique\' condition. The simulated Garnet catches the light beautifully! The stone is secure in the setting however does rattle lightly when shakenso I leave it to the buyer to have prongs tightened if desired.

Engalhart Cornelius Ostby is a legend in the jewelry trade. He emigrated from Oslo, Norway to the US in 1869. After forming his own company with his partner, Nathan Barton in 1879, they became well known for their high quality and beautifully made jewelry.
