This is a Lovely Original Antique Victorian Blanket Box.

Dated Circa 1890.

Made of Solid Pine, with a Waxed finish.

The Blanket Box is Free Standing, and can be viewed all round, perfect to use as a coffee table, or storage for those warming Eiderdowns, or even as a toy box~ Perfect !

Sitting on Plinth Feet.

This is one of the nicest Boxes I have ever restored, it is Lovely and Clean inside.

With a Lovely Tiered Lid, with a Rounded Edge.

With the Original Lock, Keeper, and Hinges. To the Sides are Lovely OriginalCast iron Swing handles, which are good and strong.

With a strap to hold the lid safely open.

Measuring 32cm tall, (12.5 inches), and 88cm across, (nearly 50inches) and 50cm deep, (nearly 20inches)

In Good Condition,and Fully Restored, the Chest is good, Strong and Sturdy.
