This is a very nice quality old large initialed wooden sailmakers serving mallet measuring 13.5 inches in length.The head measures approx. 4.2 by 3.2 inches and 1.5 inches in depth.The head ius marked on one side with an A and the other side with a B.It probably dates to the late 1800s / early 1900s and is in good original condition with a very good colour and patina.This lovely old good quality initialed Victorian wooden serving mallet would grace any collection or sit very well in any period or contemporary setting.Thanks for viewing and please take a look in my shop for many more interesting old items.
