Description A beautifulrareEnglish antiqueEdwardiansolid 9ct rose goldvesta/match case by the goldsmiths ASPREY & CO - (1903-1909), in good condition and with a full set of English gold hallmarks Birmingham 1908.Superb quality genuine 110 year oldsolid gold example; nice cushion shape with a hinged lid and with a handsome smooth polished finish. It is complete with its original large gold bale/attachment ring and itweighs approx11.7 grams.No added engraved monograms or crests, possibly something small erased from the front at one time, no longer readable.

MeasurementsMeasures approx. 1.7 inches (43mm) in height (excluding attachment ring), x 1.15 inches (29mm) wide and is 0.35 inches (8mm) deep.

ConditionGood condition, with no splits or repairs and no nasty knocks or dents, a very nice genuine solid gold example. The lid hinge works perfectly, it is lacking the interior spring bar, but the lid still opens and closes securely. It is complete with its original large 9ct gold bale ringand is ready to be attached to a fine albert chain. Possibly something small erased from the front at one time, definitely no longer readable and hardly visible. A nice gold weight, approx 11.7 grams and is direct from a private 9ct rose goldvesta/match case byASPREY & CO.
