Thank you for looking at this sale for a beautiful Bronze Buddha head, from the temples of Lop Buri in Thailand.

Recognisable as a Lop Buri artifact from theflame shaped finial ortopknot, known as \'ushnia\' and from the continuous hairline and finely cast face.

Hollow cast, it is remarkably well made, the face itself is very well modeled with a very serene countenance.

The ears are very long, a reflection of the Buddhas former life as a prince, when he wore very heavy jewellery.

Presented on a simple museum style wooden base.

A very serene Buddha statue,it would look stunning in any setting.
