Brand New Lakland BassLimited Edition 44-60 With Matching Headstock!
Lakland has taken the world\'s favorite, classic bass designs and tweaked them in all the right ways. One thing they didn\'t want to mess with was the feel or tone, and they have delived. The 44-60 retains the classic contoured offset body design and slim/fast neck. The pickups are vintage voiced single coils and can nail all the classic tones you need.
From there Lakland methodically went about dialing in what makes a great instrument. Some were straightforward choices: light weight Hipshot tuners, Dunlop strap buttons, a stainless steel bridge that accommodates both string through body and top loading. The tuners are tapered so you have strong tension over the nut. The fingerboard is extended farther into the headstock thereby reinforcing this sometimes weak spot. The necks are reinforced with graphite bars to deter warping while helping to eliminate dead spots. The cutaway was also made a bit deeper to allow easy access to the highest frets.
Their list of players is a testament to their superb quality and craftsmanship. The Skyline Series puts within reach of the average player who demands a top shelf bass but at a more reasonable cost. They are made overseas but finished in Chicago. They are able to hold up in the most demanding of situations and with be your \"go-to\" bass live or in the studio.
