Up for grabs is a fantastic vintage sheep stool in the style of Lalanne (not made by Lalanne). Items like these do not come up very often.This sheep has a wooden body covered with real sheepskin. The head and legs are made of either bronze or brass The color tone is brass. It is sturdy, and very heavy, weighing in at around 40 lbs . This is a vintage example, dating back to the 60\'s.This whimsical sheep is sure to be the focal point in any room.This piece is in overall good vintage condition with age appropriate wear - some pitting, light scratching, and wear to to metal, as is to be expected in 50+ year old pieces.
**** His ear broke off cleanly at the base of the head, and was repaired. The ear has been reattached using two hex screws. The holes have been threaded, so you can actually remove the ear with an allen wrench. You can see the seam around the ear, as pictured.
