Mike Lankford large 7.5 inch hunting fighting knife, used

Large 7.5 inch blade bowie-type knife made by Mike Lankford, so marked along with No.1, and (made) For David Standley, age and location unknown. Obviiously a custom knife, heavy duty (spine is a good .25 inch), well made, but older and used, and needs a little polishing and cleanup. Beautiful wood, maybe tiger stripe maple? Brass handguard. Shaving sharp! Maybe product of long lost master knife maker - you tell me.

Scabbard is rough but serviceable (for mountain man), obviously handmade and unmarked.
