Large 19thC Chinese Famille Rose Mandarin Porcelain Platter:

This beautiful Chinese porcelain platter is decorated with what appears to be a ceremonial scene with characters with gold gilt in their hair, a bird, and a dragon. The boarder is decorated with various enamel designs including flowers, birds, and bats. It dates from the 19th Century and measures approximately 1 + 5/8 inches high, 15 + ¾ inches long, and 13 inches wide. It is in excellent condition with the exception of some wear on the enamel and gilt, and some chipping on the rim.
