Very Large Antique Russian Brass Samovar, With Brass Teapot & Hand Decorated Brass Oval Tray. Measuring a total of 28\" tall to top of teapot. Samovar measures 23 1/4\" tall, 12\" wide from handle to handle, 15\" front to back with a 5\" spout. Tray measures 23 1/2\" long, 15 1/2\" wide. In overall good condition. Has Maker Marks and many date seals/stamp marks. Dates range from 1899-1910. Name and writing is hard to make out, but looks to say- Camobaph & Abphka - R. Sataweba. Has Maker Marks on both lid and front of samovar. 2 handles on lid are slightly different, so one must be a replacement. Also missing clip under flow knob, which holds knob tightly in place. Inside of samovar has a hardened mud like coating on surface, which is crumbling/falling off in areas (I was told the hard mud like coating is to protect the brass from stress cracks, when item is no longer in use for an extended period of time. Has some dings and dents but NO holes or cracks. Great piece for décor and collection, currently not good for use cause of inside mud coating.
