Gorgeous antique 800 Silver serving tray with chased design and a relief floral ( roses ) border and handles. The tray is impressed on the back with a crescent and crown mark and \"800\". I believe this piece is German. The tray measures 24\" long including the handles. The measurements of the tray itself , NOT including the handles, is 18\" x 15.5\". This piece is quite heavy. Measured on a POSTAL SCALE , it weighs 3 lbs, 8 oz. There is evidence of use...minor light surface lines and scratches consistent with age and use. There are no unsightly dents. For those who have asked, I do not have a silver scale to weigh this on. As stated in the description, I weighed the tray on a standard Postal Scale, and the weight is stated in regular ounces, and NOT troy ounces.
