This sale is for a large early 19th century antique Staffordshire pearlware children\'s motto plate measuring about7.5 inches in diameter. Condition is good - no cracks or rim chips - one very faint fine short hairline. The motto says: \"Handle your tools without mittens; remember the cat in gloves catches no mouse. Constant dropping wears away stones and little strokes fell great oaks.\" Please review the photos for condition and ask any questions you may have.
