A large antique shell cameo depicting an unusual scene from the medieval period of a princess with a young boy walking in a garden, castle in the background on a high hillside. The oval shell is set into a smart 9ct gold frame with engraved decoration. Secure pin and c clasp to reverse. Unmarked but tested as 9ct gold. The cameo is in very good condition with the lightest of wear.

Selling from my mother-in-law’s private collection, due to down sizing.
