A superb early Edwardian embossed solid silver trinket or table snuff box.
Hallmarked - Chester 1903 ---- Maker George Nathan & Ridley Hayes.
Also stamped with lion passant & date letter on the front side of the lid.
This is a very good quality silver trinket box with a heavy weight of silver - 124 grams.
Has a stunning embossed ivy leaf design with a central heart cartouche which has not been engraved.
Has a hinged lid that fits nice and tight onto the base.
Has no dents or damage and is in good original condition.
The lid & front & back sections have a few tiny pin holes on the raised sections this is due to cleaning and handling over many years.
Measures - 17.6 cm Length x 4.5 cm wide x 2.4 cm height ---- Weighs 124 grams of 925 solid silver.
