Great display quality. Rare Double Rooster Weather Vane. It maybe a rooster & a chicken, but you can decide. Not sure of exact age, but at least vintage. Many of the fittings look early 1900\'s, but a few bolts & nuts have been replaced over time.
Obtained from an Amish sale in Northern Indiana. The sheet metal the roosters were cut from & top holder looks tin or aluminum as they do not hold a magnet. The central pole & base appear iron or other alloy, they do hold a magnet. The base wood is very old and nails look very old as well.
Great for a fence topper or where ever you wish. Could not find one just like it.
I will ship with directional arms& rooster laying flat (you can easily readjust) for safety reasons.
