A wonderful vintage painting on hardboard in a very ornate antique wood frame with gesso coat and various gilded colors on several patterns of frame. The piece overall is approximately 33.5\" by 29.5\" with painting itself at 24x20\". Great colors and well executed piece. Signed lower right J Schwartz (possibly Jo, hard to tell). The four specs toward center are paint specs for leaves in air, not soiling. I tried to take pics at angle to show paint detail. The hardboard is very old showing its age on edges of back so it is an old painting (hardboard was invented in 1920s). Painting is in very good condition with a very tiny mark on upper right edge in sky, the frame is very nice overall but shows gesso nipped on a couple corners (see close up) and some wear on detail edges with about 3 beads missing at bottom that have been gone over to blend in at some point along the way. Overall a very nice piece in good condition.
