This Dramatic, Properly Rare period item has retained its;
Original date stamp, British War Department Stamp & Broad Arrow C/w Manufacturers trade mark

Obviously this Flag has, Color Run, Moth nips & A frayed fly end.
Isn\'t it (In My Opinion) fine, old Flag belonged to my Great Great Grandfather, James Burke {1867 ~ 1919}.
Decorated 2nd Boer War Veteran & WW1, 1914 Thoroughly Old Contemptible
He was a British soldier all of his adult life with 36 years service behind him before he went ahead in 1919 shortly after being honorably discharged at the age of 51 due to failing health after The Great War.

James was an avid collector of Militaria & festooned his Lancashire home with,
All manner of flotsam & Jetsam, from all corners of the British Empire.
He began the family tradition which i steadfastly, Carry on today
