Large Early 19thC Shorthose & Co. English Creamware Tureen & Ladle!

This large early English creamware soup tureen has a nice form with applied handles and flower finial. It comes with matching ladle and is impressed SHORTHOSE & Co. on the underside, along with the number 2. Ladle also has an impressed number 2. It dates from the early 19th Century and measures approximately 11 inches tall to the top of the finial by 16 inches across the handles by 10 inches wide at the shoulders. It is in excellent condition for its age with a small chip on the underside of the rim of the lid, along with a short hairline extending from the rim and one around the base of one of the handles. Also there is a small glaze chip along the edge of one of the handles.
