ITEM DESCRIPTION

Item Description

Up for your consideration is a fine shadowbox display featuring a signed letter by Loie Fuller, and artwork apparently signed by T. Lautec, and a picture of the artist. This piece comes from a large collection of authentic signed memorabilia from an estate, where he had about 100 custom framed pieces of various artists/composer\'s, etc. All of them were carefully selected for authenticity, and saleed off at high prices (some exceeding $5000).

The Loie Fuller letter is unquestionably authentic, but the Toulouse-Lautrec piece is somewhat of a mystery. It is signed \"T. Lautec\" apparently in pencil, with the signature of another artist (purportedly the colorist) just above.

The owner had a card on the back stating \"Original letter by Loie Fuller, friend and model of T. Lautrec. framed with hand-copied lithograph by Henri in a rare edition of under 10 pieces.\" I do not guarantee its authenticity. The print is titledLoie Fuller aux Folies Bergères, originally done by Lautrec in 1892

Measurements

The piece is 24.5\" tall, 30\" wide, and 2.5\" deep. The piece are protected by UV resistant plexi-glass.

Condition Report

Overall, the piece is in excellent condition. There is light wear to the frame and plexi-glass, nothing significant or distracting. The inner contents are in excellent, archivally mounted condition.
