This is one of 5 Very Nice, Frederic Remington Sculptures I am putting up for Sale this week due to lack of space and need for cash...All were purchased at retail prices during 2005 and 2006, and have been enjoyed immensely, just out of Space and Time for a change...This Sculpture was Originally Purchased at a Frederic Remington Art Gallery in Texas...For Sale here is an Outstanding, Large, Artist Signed, Museum Quality, Bronze Sculpture \"Mountain Man\" by Frederic Remington... This piece would make a great Retirement/Christmas gift...\"As Remington described in a letter to the museum curator of the Corcoran Gallery of art ( where he intended to market the piece), “This Mountain Man I intend to be as one of those old Iroquois trappers who followed the fur companies in the Rocky Mountains in the 30’s and 40’ties.” Handmade in the traditional Lost Wax Process, 100% Bronze, Hand Finished which insures a quality, One-of-a-Kind Bronze Sculpture that may be passed down from Generation to Generation. This Sculpture is Considered to be the Regular size, which is the size the Original Sculpture was done in, It Measures approx. 27 1/2\" tall x 18\" long and weighs near 50 lbs.before packing...Sits on a Beautiful Green, Solid Marble Base...Great Gift idea...
