Large GORGEOUS Vintage Blue & White Sail Boat Antique Quilt ~CLASSIC DESIGN!

This BEAUTIFUL cotton 20\'s/30\'s blue and white sail boat quilt is machine pieced and hand quilted, with an unusual reverse design (white-on-blue instead of the more typical blue-on-white). The date \"Nov. 8, 1966\" is hand embroidered on one corner, most likely added later to commemorate a gift or mark a special occasion.

It measures a generous 86\" X 98\" and is in excellent condition, with the occasional small, faint age spot and no wear. The quilt feels strong and sturdy overall.

There are straight line and grid designs quilted throughout at an even 7 stitches to the inch.

The back is white, the hand stitched binding is the same solid blue used in the interior, and the batting is thin.
