Large Gdansk, Danzig Germany or Poland Silver Stuffing Spoon 4.1oz 13 1/8\" Long c1830

Presented is a large early stuffing or serving spoon from Gdansk Poland, formerly Danzig Germany with a pricked inscription date of 1831 and hall marks. This is a beautiful and useful early spoon with a great classic fiddle style shape. It has distinctive hallmarks and has a very light pricked period monogram with a date of October 1831. It is excellent for the collector of antique silver and the art of fine dining. Made of solid 800 fine silver sterling silver is 925 so there is slightly less silver in this alloy

Marks: Hallmarked for Gdansk Poland formerly Danzig Germany silver of 800 finess with a date letter and makers mark

Weight: 4.1 ounces on my postal scale or, 115 Grams

Condition:numerous minor dings and shallow dents, a light period pricked monogram with date. there is some unevenwear to the tip if the spoon from use.Some fine scratches from occasional gentle. Please see pictures above.
